How far is too far

The world is busy as it often is and as a result I forget to post in here. But that is rude and I should put more effort in.

Today I have a question, how far is too far to drive in one day? The furthest I have ever driven was around 480 miles and at mile 400 I started to get a head ache. Today I did around 330 miles which seemed OK ignoring the fact that I was tired to start with and had a cold which is just annoying under any circumstances, but I do sometimes wonder how safe I am when I have driven that far. Do the miles add knowledge and experience or do the miles lead to arrogance and complacency? I suspect I know the answer to that one and odds are I wont like that answer!

Started the day in Taunton, drove to Exeter for a meeting (I do like the South West folk, very cheery accents) and then back home to York. It was nice to get home, nice to chill and relax for the evening without relying on a hotel bar. As many have said before, there's no place like home.
